Clergy and Staff

The Rev. Elizabeth Felicetti, Rector

Elizabeth began her ministry at St. David's in February 2011. Her ministry passions are preaching and teaching, and outside of church her interests include writing, books, birds and ukuleles. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Writing at Spalding University, and earned Master’s degree in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2007. Her husband Gary is a retired military judge who served in the U.S. Coast Guard for more than thirty years. Elizabeth and Gary have an insane rescue mutt named Pepper, who does not come to church animal blessings because she is so embarrassing. So, “What do we call a female priest?” Elizabeth prefers to be addressed by her Christian name by adults and “Pastor Elizabeth” by children and youth.

The Rev. Bill Jones, Deacon

The Rev. Bill Jones Bill has served St. David's twice, first from 1993 to 1996, and then from 2006 to the present. Bill’s passions include prison ministry and service to non-profit organizations such as "Home Again," an agency dealing with homeless men, women, and children, which presented Bill with the Ann and Don King Community Leadership Award in 2017. Bill and his wife Lynn love our St. David's family and consider our parish to be their permanent Church home.

Connie Sylvester, Parish Administrator

Connie joined the St. David’s staff as Parish Administrator in January 2020. A long-time member of Enon Church of God, she is involved in the Outreach Ministry and greeting team. She is married to Rocky and they have a son, Trevor. Outside of church, Connie enjoys listening to all kinds of music, classic cars, and gardening. Her family loves animals and have rescued several kitties who now call the Sylvester house their home.

Bonnie Blaylock, Director of Music

In April 2002, Bonnie began working with the music ministry at St. David's. She loves every style of music, from bluegrass to opera, which makes her well-suited to lead our two diverse choirs (one contemporary and one traditional). She attended VCU, majoring in music. In December 2011, she passed the CPC exam (medical coding). Her son, Ben, is a graphics design artist with Southern Graphics and works as a liaison for Philip Morris. Her daughter, Jen, is a pharmacist for CVS.

Sue Davis, Director of Child and Youth Formation.

Sue began attending St. David’s in January 1991. She has been involved in Christian Formation ministry as part-time staff since April 1996. She enjoys watching the children of St. David’s grow in their spirituality from their earliest years in the nursery through adulthood. Sue is a career-switcher who started out in the insurance industry and found her calling in education. She is a licensed teacher in the state of Virginia and has a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on literacy and culture. In addition to her ministry at St. David’s, Sue is a fulltime classroom teacher at Good Shepherd Episcopal School. She loves to quilt, read and travel. Sue and her husband Justin were married at St. David’s. They share their home with their three children, Justin, Adrienne and Thomas, as well as their two dogs.
