Welcome to St. David’s! As a Christian community we are called to reach out with joy and acceptance in worship and ministry, inviting all to experience and share God's gifts and abundant love as we grow in Christ. We live out this call through three services on Sunday morning, through outreach ministries, active Christian formation programs, and family-friendly fellowship opportunities .
We invite you to visit any Sunday. Our 7:45 a.m. service is a small quiet service of Holy Eucharist, ideal for those looking for an intimate, contemplative service. We gather inside the sanctuary around the altar for communion, and on the first Sunday of the month we celebrate Rite I. Our other two services observe Holy Eucharist Rite II, with a contemporary band at the 9:00 a.m. service, including guitar, harmonica and violin; and with traditional hymnody accompanied by piano at the 11:15. During both of the later services, children are invited forward for a front row “seat” for the Service of the Word, sitting together on a red carpet. The clergy present a children’s sermon, and then our Director of Child and Youth Formation sits with them to help them following along with the readings, sermons and prayers using the “Junior Sunday papers.” Bags with quiet toys are also available for children, as well as a staffed nursery during both the 9:00 and 11:15 services.
Whatever service best suits your style of worship, please join us. You will find a warm, welcoming community excited to greet you.
